Topical agent indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate acne vulgaris. It helps reduce bacterial proliferation on the skin, unclog pores, and decrease inflammation of acne lesions. The 2.5% concentration usually offers good efficacy with a lower risk of irritation, ideal for sensitive skin or for initiating treatment.
It may cause dryness, redness, or mild peeling at the beginning. It is recommended to apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin once or twice a day as directed by a doctor, avoiding contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
